Maxwell Perry Cotton got his start in the entertainment industry by doing print work for the famous toy company Mattel at age 4 and then he landed a print campaign for Hanes. He also booked an episode of “Untold Stories from the ER.” Shortly after, Maxwell started auditioning on a regular basis for film and television and quickly booked the CBS pilot “Welcome to the Jungle Gym.” His first series regular job came when he played Rachel Griffiths' son Copper Whedon on the hit ABC series “Brothers and Sisters.” A last minute decision made by his father while on a family road trip, to send he and his mother on a plane from Oakland, CA to the final callbacks in Los Angeles definitely paid off. Maxwell was cast as the first actual 6 year old Dennis Mitchell in the new film “A Dennis The Menace Christmas” for Warner Home Video. Maxwell has starred opposite Mira Sorvino and Barry Pepper in the award winning festival film “Like Dandelion Dust.” Most recently Maxwell starred opposite A- list Jim Carrey in “Mr. Popper's Penguins” and will next be seen in the upcoming Warner Bros feature film “Gangster Squad” and the Sony Pictures release “Elysium.” Maxwell is currently shooting the independent feature film “Snake and Mongoose” with Noah Wylie and Jessie Williams.
Mason Vale Cotton got his start in the entertainment industry by doing print work and tagging along on all his older brothers’ auditions. His first theatrical audition was for a co-starring role on the hit series “Medium”, although his parents weren’t sure if he would want to do this, they spoke to Mason and decided to give it a try. Ultimately, it paid off; Mason got the job and then soon turned into a small role on ER, and soon after a lead in the short film “The Spleenectomy” opposite Anna Faris, for Glamour Magazine’s Reel Moments. It was official, Mason loved acting.
Today Mason is most well known for his role as MJ Delfino, on the hit show
“Desperate Housewives”. However currently he is a regular on the award winning show “Mad Men” as Bobby Draper.
Mason also does character voices for Disney Animation. He is the voice of Timmy Terwelp in the new holiday favorite “Prep & Landing”. He also is the voice of Nemo on Disney Learning games and the Nemo Plush toy. He is also the voice of Bambi in a Bambi Plush Toy.
Mason is very active in sports. He plays football on the Burbank Vikings. He loves track, basketball and baseball.
Mason was born in San Diego, California and currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his mother and father and big brother Maxwell.
